BUD

BUD is an award winning, short film that serves as a proof of concept for a larger feature. ​Produced by Six Shooter Shorts and written/executive produced by Daliah Bernstein, BUD tells the story of four best friends are taking part in their daily tradition: smoking weed in their parents' basement. All except Lana, who refrains in order to protect her singing voice, are stoned, and engaged in a philosophical conversation about life, death and Mr. Bean. When Bud reveals that he wants to be cremated and turned into weed upon his death, the three friends laugh it off, not taking it seriously. When Bud unexpectedly dies from slipping in the shower a few days later, Steph, Matt and Lana are forced with the quest of fulfilling his final wish.
